Matthew Tucker is one of the co-founders of MedTech+Mindset and an out-of-the-box thinker known as a catalyst for product and portfolio growth and organizational transformation.

His diverse career demonstrates consistent revenue growth through the launching of new products, incorporating acquired assets, and rehabilitating languishing brands. Matthew has expert-level skills in commercialization planning, product management, sales, acquisitions, integrations, P&L management, fundraising, health insurance, and healthcare systems. This expertise has been developed through roles in Med Device, Pharma, Digital Therapeutics, and Payer / Healthcare Systems at large multi-nationals and startups.

As NightWare’s Chief Commercial Officer, he has led the company from $0 to the first $1m in revenue without the benefit of a sales staff. NightWare is a Breakthrough Designation, in-market FDA 510k digital therapeutic for PTSD- related nightmares currently focused on patients in the DoD and VA. He’s led all commercialization activities including: launch strategy, sales force planning, and incentive compensation, brand development, sales training, sales operations, contracting, all marketing activities, and community outreach. Additionally, he’s been a driving force during: fundraising, staffing and hiring, QA/QMS, customer service, finance, and company strategic planning.

At Highmark Health, he reimagined the strategy and business approach of the VITAL program, which partners with MedTech to validate new innovations. He led the year-over-year growth of the program from only $150k to $1.1m within one year. Previously he led two strategy workstreams to improve Innovation, the company’s approach to strategic partnerships, and the B2B marketing strategy for commercial health plans.

During his leadership as the VP of Product Marketing and Strategy for Mylan’s Specialty business unit, Matthew was on the executive team for a $1B+ business unit and oversaw $40mm in marketing budget. Providing oversight for a portfolio of specialty drugs, his achievements included rehabilitating the EpiPen brand perception after significant public and government backlash. He led the first unit growth seen in 5 years for a COPD product. Matthew also grew a 17-year-old anesthesia brand 68% over three years after a history of decline resulting in an award by the magazine PM360 as a Brand Trailblazer award for growth.

Matthew perfected his commercialization and management approach at Baxter Healthcare, where he drove significant revenue increases and was a key leader in growing the portfolio through organic and inorganic initiatives such as traditional promotional strategies, product line extensions, and by leading the commercial integration of a $275mm acquisition. This integration included bringing commercial operations such as marketing, sales, customer operations, supply chain, legal/compliance, and medical affairs into the organization.
